I have recently read and enjoyed 'Someone Like You' by Sarah Dessen. I really enjoyed the book because it was very intresting and exciting to read. I had read a couple of books by Sarah Dessen beofre and liked them so I decided I wanted to read more of her books.

The book was about Scarlett, a girl who's boyfriend died in a motor-cycle crash and then she found out she was pregnant with his baby. It is very sad. Then she tries to get support from her friend, Halley. But Halley has troubles of her own, and there friendship slowly gets torn apart, but surely they wont fall out completly.

I really liked this book because it was the right age level for me and it wasn't too long, and was exciting to read. My favourite character was Scarlett because I felt really sorry for her when she found out she was pregnant because she should of been happy not sad.

I would recommend this book for 13,14 and 15 year olds because it was quite long and quite hard to understand, and took a while to rtead but I still liked it

Along For The Ride is a really good book about a girl who, at first, is all about how well she does in school and spends her time reading books and studying. She's not sociable and doesn't like parties. But one summre she decides to go visit her dad who lives by the beach and suddenly everything seems to fall into place - she finds the boy of her dreams, she becomes friends with the most popular girls and she goes to a house party!! :o

I really enjoyed it!!
