J. K. Rowling was born in 1965 and is probably the most famous author alive. She is the author of the Harry Potter books, first published in 1997. The final Harry Potter book, the Deathly Hallows, was published in 2007. J. K. is now in the process of writing a new book for children.

The Library has all of her books and some on audio too.

THE TALES OF BEEDLE THE BARD

This book is by the famous author J.K Rowling. The Tales of Beedle The Bard is a book which consists of five differnt fables and also contains Professor Dumbledore's thoughts on the tale. The five stories are:
The Wizard and the Hopping Pot
The Fountain of Fair Fortune
The Warlock's Hairy Heart
Babbity Rabbity and her Cackling Stump
The Tale of Three Brothers.

The stories are very qeer and somewhat twisted, but I really enjoyed reading the book.
I think that people over the age of eight could read ths book, as it is quite disturbing at some points. Also, people that enjoy fairy tales and magical stories should read this book.

HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE

This book is by J.K Rowling.
It is a very exiting book.
I love lots of parts of it.
Harry Potter is now in 5th year.
He is having weird dreams about Voldemort.
He went to the Quidditch World Cup with Mr.Weasly,Cedrics dad,Cedric,Fred,George,Hermionie,
Ron and Ginny.
He accidently gets put in the Triwizzard Cup which is for 17+.
I really like Malfoy and Harry.
I like Malfoy because he has an evil side to him but he won't show it.
Harry is really enthusiastic about everything.
My favorite line is '' He is just a boy not a peice of meat.''I really liked it.
I would give it 10 out of 10.
I think older children would like it rather than younger childern.

Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban.

J.k. Rowling

The book is about Harry Potter's third year at Hogwartz. Harry can't wait to get back to Hogwartz but that all changes when he finds out that the mass murderer Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban and is near Hogwartz.

At the end of the book there is two things that Harry finds out. One of them is that professor Lupin is a werewolf and there is another one but you have to read to find out what happens.

I liked this book because I like Harry Potter and it is filled with action and adventure. I think people of all ages would like this book.
